Making a Mark By Not Leaving One
Our devotion begins with superior service and operational excellence through a strong commitment to continually finding innovative ways to reduce our overall environmental impact through our operations, products, and community.
Focused on reducing our footprint annually, we’ve implemented major changes to our headquarters including an investment in solar panels to allow us opportunities to be a net energy producer. In addition to a cool roof, insulation, windows and more to decrease the need for heating and cooling, these initial efficiencies allowed us to eliminate 85.2 tons of carbon—and we’re not done yet.
Corporate headquarters powered by solar energy.
Over 700,000 memo samples recycled using our 2 Clicks Memo Return program.
The percentage of our sample shipping tubes are returned to us to use again and again.
Planted in partnership with The Conservation Fund resulting in 8,550 metric tons of carbon offset.
The world’s most sustainable textiles and wallcoverings start with sustainable components. We understand the importance of transparency and that’s why we feature reduced environmental impact attributes such as Phthalate free, PVC free, Low-VOC CA Section 01350, GREENGUARD certified, recycled content, EPD/HPD.
Whether it is Silica textiles, Woven Silica wallcovering, C-Zero® or Naked Nylon, we’re always looking for ways to make our products better with advancements in technologies to bring you industry firsts.
Made from three simple components—silicone, a colorant, and a polyester backing, our award-winning silica collection is the most sustainable, highest performing, PVC free alternative, causing zero harm to the environment.
PURE & SIMPLE
Developed by Momentum in 2011, Naked Nylon combines sustainability and performance to create the most environmentally friendly textile on the planet. Naked Nylon is a solution-dyed nylon that is 100% recycled, naturally abrasion resistant, and bleach cleanable.
We’re always evaluating if a product can be made with recycled content. Less energy, less water, producing less greenhouse gas emissions or diverting material from the landfill—a constant commitment to doing what's right is at our core.
Our involvement in the community is for one main reason; it’s the right thing to do. It builds a strong team within the company and within the community. Our vision for a better world extends beyond our walls.
Logged since 2007 to our Community Involvement Action Team–established for employees to volunteer their time to local causes.
Reusing discontinued fabric samples, we created the Comfort Quilt Project. An initiative to make blankets for foster care children and the less fortunate, resulting in over 2,400 quilts (and counting!) donated.
COMMON THREAD FOR THE CURE
A percentage of profits from Silica, our #1 selling product, is donated to the Common Thread for the Cure, an organization that supports the design and furnishings industries in the fight against breast cancer.
AWARENESS FOR BRAILLE LITERACY
A percentage of our sales of Lanark’s Louis collection—a wallcovering inspired by the tactility of Braille letterforms—are donated to the National Federation of the Blind.
